As part of its ongoing plan to improve operational efficiency and expand the use of the latest global technologies in the field of waste treatment and recycling, “Green Power Environmental Services” announced the completion of the installation and commissioning of the state-of-the-art “Windshifter” equipment within the production lines at its waste recycling plant in Idku, Beheira Governorate.
Windshifter technology is one of the most advanced methods for separating and sorting waste using airflow and density differences; it automatically and precisely separates lightweight materials (such as plastic, paper, and materials that can be recycled or used to produce refuse-derived fuel, or RDF) from heavy materials and stones.
The company’s management emphasized that the addition of this equipment to the operational lines is part of Green Power’s strategy to improve quality and environmental safety standards and increase the plant’s capacity to handle various types of solid and non-hazardous waste, thereby serving factories and industrial projects in the region in accordance with the highest approved environmental requirements and regulations.Green Power continues to provide integrated and sustainable environmental solutions that help protect the environment and support Egypt's economy.
